Fatal Stabbing Reported After Meeting in Tashir

During the preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated at the Lori regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, it was revealed that on October 4, 2025, a group of individuals met in the town of Tashir with the opposing side to “clarify” insults directed at one of them.

During the meeting, R.M. suggested to T.D. that they move aside to talk, after which R.M. used a knife he had brought beforehand and stabbed T.D. several times in the chest, killing him, and then fled the scene.

Additionally, in July 2025, an argument arose between V.H. and R.M. during a phone call. At their subsequent meeting, R.M. struck V.H. in the face with his hand, stabbed him with a knife, and fled.

Public criminal prosecution has been initiated against R.M. under Article 155(1) of the Criminal Code (murder) and Article 195(2)(3) (physical violence against a minor).

Detention has been applied as a preventive measure.

The criminal case has been sent to the supervising prosecutor with an indictment.
