On October 28, an emergency incident occurred in the Armavir region. Around 10:00, on the road between the villages of Vardenis and Arazap, in the administrative territory of Vardenis village, according to preliminary information, three brothers engaged in sheep farming found 12 of their sheep electrocuted in the specified location.
According to shamshyan.com, based on preliminary information, the sheep died due to the snapping of a 10,000-volt power line, and on the road leading from the specified location to the village of Arazap, in the adjacent field area, the owners of the sheep found another 24 sheep that had died from electrocution.
Representatives from the Musaler branch of the "Electric Networks of Armenia" company also arrived and de-energized the area. Several villagers gathered at the scene said that fortunately, no cars or citizens were passing by at that moment, otherwise they would have also been electrocuted. One of the shepherds said that he was lucky to have felt that the power line had snapped and fallen, and he saw foam coming out of the mouths of several sheep, and since he felt that there was danger and the power supply had not been cut off, he moved away from the snapped wires.
