Blasts Reported Near Ryazan Oil Refinery and Airbase in Russia

Explosions have rocked the area of an oil refinery and a military airbase in the Russian city of Ryazan, from where, according to Ukrainian sources, Russian bombers are carrying out attacks on Ukraine. The Russian side has not officially confirmed the information about the strikes.

The governor reported that a fire broke out on the territory of one of the enterprises as a result of "falling debris." At the same time, local residents say that the road leading to the oil refinery is closed and that they counted about ten explosions during the attack.

There is information that the "Dyagilevo" military airfield, where Tu-95MS, Tu-22M3, Tu-134UBL bombers and an Il-78 refueling aircraft are based, could also have been under attack. The 360th aircraft repair plant is also located near the airfield.
