29 SEP 2025 09:32
The vaccination process has already started in the republic for 2-3 weeks. This was announced by Zaruhi Grigoryan, Deputy Director General of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia. Svetlana Grigoryan, Head of the Immunoprevention Department of the NCDC, informed that mobile centers for flu vaccination will operate in Yerevan from the first week of October.
The vaccine is primarily provided to at-risk groups: children from 6 months to 5 years old, individuals with comorbidities, pregnant women, people over 65, beneficiaries and staff of social care centers, conscripts, and medical workers. Foreigners can also be vaccinated against the flu, meaning citizenship or registration is not mandatory.
The Ministry of Health urges everyone to apply to the nearest medical centers to receive the appropriate vaccine to avoid further complications. Experts assure that there is no active circulation of acute respiratory infections in the republic yet.
