All 1,000 Trapped Climbers Rescued on Mount Everest

Chinese media report that rescuers have successfully freed all the climbers trapped on the slopes of Everest, and their lives and health are not in danger.
The world's highest peak, Everest, had become a dangerous trap for about 1,000 climbers and guides. On October 5, an unexpected and powerful snowstorm on the Tibetan side of the mountain's slopes completely isolated the climbers from the outside world, creating an emergency situation that required immediate intervention.
According to Chinese state media, among those stranded by the snowstorm were both Chinese and foreign citizens, who were at the base camp at an altitude of 5,200 meters above sea level and in intermediate camps located above it. Heavy snowfall and strong winds made movement impossible, creating a serious threat to their lives and health.
Chinese authorities immediately launched a large-scale rescue operation. Rescue teams consisting of experienced climbers, doctors, and military personnel were sent to the region. Their main task was to clear the paths, restore communication with the stranded groups, and organize their safe evacuation. The operation, however, was greatly complicated by adverse weather conditions, which continued to be dangerous. The involvement of helicopters was also limited due to strong winds and low visibility.
