Europe Divided on Sending Troops to Ukraine

Europe cannot come to a unified opinion regarding the presence of Western troops in Ukraine. No European state is ready to send its troops to the line of contact, even in conditions of peace.

- Great Britain, France, Germany, and Czechia generally do not rule out the presence of their military personnel on the territory of Ukraine, and Estonia is ready to provide one company.

- Poland, Italy, Finland, and Croatia do not want to send troops to Ukraine.

- Italy proposes to guarantee security through NATO forces.

Negative messages continue to come from Moscow regarding the prospect of an armed presence of European countries on the territory of Ukraine.
