EU Welcomes Armenia-Azerbaijan Leaders' Meeting in Abu Dhabi

The European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Hipper, has stated: "The EU welcomes today's meeting of the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Abu Dhabi."

According to him, the EU strongly supports the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan.

"We call on both sides to start the signing and ratification of the draft peace agreement as soon as possible. The EU is ready to provide additional support and expert assistance if the parties request it," noted Hipper.
