The EU may strip Georgia of its visa-free travel

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, has said that the EU has warned the Georgian authorities that if they fail to fulfill a number of conditions set by Brussels, particularly the release of convicted protest participants, the country may be stripped of its visa-free travel with EU countries.

According to Kallas, a corresponding official letter will already be sent to the Georgian authorities on July 15.
