New EU-Armenia Partnership Agenda Nearly Ready: Maragos

The new EU-Armenia partnership agenda is almost ready: Maragos. The European Union and Armenia are nearing the end of negotiations on a new partnership agenda. This was stated by EU Ambassador to Armenia, Vassilis Maragos, during a discussion within the framework of the EU-Armenia Civil Society Platform.

According to him, one of the EU's priorities is to strengthen Armenia's resilience. For this purpose, a resilience and growth enhancement program was presented last year, which includes many concrete steps, from economic diversification to the introduction of European standards in the fields of intellectual property and consumer rights protection.

The EU Ambassador noted that many subcommittees are already operating, and the main partnership committee meeting will take place in Brussels in July.
