Erdoğan Offers Zelenskyy Mediation with Russia

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan told Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a phone call that Ankara is ready to facilitate high-level contacts between Ukraine and Russia. This was reported by Erdoğan's office.

"During the conversation, bilateral relations between Turkey and Ukraine, the peace process between Ukraine and Russia, as well as regional and global issues were discussed. President Erdoğan stated that a just settlement of the Ukrainian-Russian war is possible. He noted that negotiations between the two sides should continue, and that Turkey is ready to do its best to facilitate high-level contacts," the office noted.

Erdoğan also stated that Turkey is continuing its efforts to end the war and establish a stable peace and will continue to contribute to Ukraine's security after peace is established.
