Erdoğan: Normalization with Armenia 'In Sync' with Azerbaijan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has stated that after the end of the conflict in the region, trends of peace and development are strengthening. Speaking to journalists on his way back from a visit to Baku, he touched upon the process of normalizing Armenian-Turkish relations.

"The process of normalizing our relations with Armenia is proceeding in close coordination with Azerbaijan," Erdoğan noted, expressing satisfaction with the ongoing processes. According to him, "winds of peace are blowing, and Turkey welcomes that."

Erdoğan once again reaffirmed that Ankara has supported Baku from the very beginning of the war, emphasizing that in the matter of normalizing relations with Armenia, Turkey is moving "in sync with Azerbaijan."
