ENA May Be Stripped of Its License

The issue of revoking the license of the "Electric Networks of Armenia" is being discussed. The temporary manager of ENA, Romanos Petrosyan, presents three reasons for revoking the license:

In January 2025, ENA's automated metering system failed, and the data from the last seven years of ENA's automated electricity metering systems were deleted.
ENA's under-collections and surcharges.
The provision of financial guarantees for other companies within the "Tashir Group." This could have endangered the electricity supply to consumers and could have created financial and security problems.
