Musk Plans "Million-Strong Army" of Optimus Robots

The Tesla company plans to create a million-strong army of Optimus humanoid robots. This was announced by the company's head, Elon Musk.

According to him, the "serial prototype" of Optimus will be ready by February or March 2026, and large-scale production is planned to start at the end of next year.

Musk, however, expressed concern about the possibility of losing control over this huge "army" of robots. During a meeting with Tesla investors, he raised a question: "What I'm primarily concerned about is how much voting control I have at Tesla. If I build this vast army of robots, will I at some point in the future be in the ousted category?"

Pentagon officials have not commented on the prospect of having an army of robots.
