28 NOV 2025 13:26
At the November 28 session of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly, the legislative package providing for amendments and additions to the law "On Public and Individual Notification via the Internet" and related laws was discussed in the second reading.
Deputy Minister of Justice of the RA, Tigran Dadunts, presented the Government's proposals. He informed that editorial changes have been made to the drafts, and proposals have also been submitted. In particular, the Government has proposed to set payments for individual and public notifications as a state duty; their rates have also been set. According to the Deputy Minister, the rates are designed so that electronic notification is more affordable than paper-based notification. The procedures for notifying by additional email or phone number will be established by a government decision.
The main regulations are here.
The Deputy Chairperson of the Committee, Arusyak Julhakyan, proposed to vote in favor of the package of draft laws.
The committee gave a positive conclusion to the revised legislative package.
The second reading of the draft law "On Amending the RA Law 'On Holidays and Memorial Days of the Republic of Armenia'," authored by Ruben Rubinyan and Gegham Nazaryan, deputies of the "Civil Contract" faction of the National Assembly, was postponed for up to two months at the authors' proposal.
The authors informed that the reason for the postponement is the need for further revision of the draft law.
