Eight Muslim Nations Back Trump's Gaza Peace Plan

Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt have issued a joint statement welcoming the Gaza war settlement plan proposed by US President Donald Trump. The foreign ministers of the eight countries praised Trump's "leadership and sincere efforts" and expressed confidence in his ability to find a path to peace. In the statement, the ministers welcomed Trump's initiative, which aims to end the war, rebuild Gaza, prevent the displacement of the Palestinian people, and promote a comprehensive peace settlement. They also particularly highlighted Trump's assurance that he will not allow the annexation of the West Bank.
The eight countries confirmed their readiness to cooperate "positively and constructively" with the United States and the conflicting parties to finalize the agreement and ensure its implementation. Their joint commitment is aimed at ending the war through a comprehensive deal that will guarantee:
-Unimpeded supply of sufficient humanitarian aid to Gaza,
-Exclusion of the displacement of Palestinians,
-Release of hostages,
-Creation of a security mechanism to protect all parties,
-Complete withdrawal of Israeli forces,
-Reconstruction of Gaza,
-Establishment of a just peace based on the "two-state" principle, within which Gaza will be fully integrated with the West Bank as part of a Palestinian state.
Although this unified position of eight large and influential Islamic countries is an important diplomatic event, it also raises certain questions. It is noteworthy that these countries, which previously could not unite to put pressure on Israel, have now suddenly united to support a "highly questionable" plan.
Taking all this into account, despite the broad support formed around Trump's plan, the prospects for its implementation still remain uncertain, due to both the deep disagreements between the parties and the doubts about the realism of the plan itself.
