Economy Minister Meets Outgoing Iranian Ambassador

On September 17, the RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the RA, Mehdi Sobhani, on the occasion of the end of the latter's diplomatic mission.

The Minister thanked the Ambassador for the work done during his tenure and for his contribution to the development of Armenia-Iran economic cooperation and wished him success in his future activities.

He also congratulated the Ambassador on the Order of Friendship awarded to him by the decree of the RA President for his significant contribution to the deepening of cooperation between Armenia and Iran, as well as the strengthening and development of Armenian-Iranian friendly relations.

During the meeting, the work and programs implemented towards the expansion of economic cooperation between Armenia and Iran were discussed.

Both sides emphasized the importance of jointly implemented programs, and exchanged views on the continuation of launched programs and future actions.
