Earthquake Near Noyemberyan Felt in Tavush and Lori

On August 22, at 15:03 local time (11:03 GMT), the seismological network of the Territorial Service for Seismic Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs registered a 3.2 magnitude earthquake at a depth of 10 km, with geographical coordinates of 41.00⁰ northern latitude and 44.98⁰ eastern longitude, in the Armenia-Azerbaijan border zone, 19 km south of the city of Noyemberyan.
The intensity of the underground tremor in the epicentral zone was 4 points.
The earthquake was felt with an intensity of 3 points in the cities of Noyemberyan, Ijevan, Berd, and the villages of Voskepar, Achajur, Koti in the Tavush province, as well as with an intensity of 2-3 points in the cities of Alaverdi, Stepanavan, and the villages of Dsegh, Lorut, and Teghut in the Lori province.
