Turkish Firefighting Plane Crashes in Croatia, Pilot Dies

A Turkish firefighting plane has crashed in Croatia; the pilot has died.

The wreckage of the plane was found near the city of Senj. It was one of two planes heading for a technical inspection, which were redirected to Rijeka instead of Zagreb due to bad weather.

The other plane landed safely, while the crashed one had disappeared from the radars.
