Court Returns 0.8 Hectare Land Plot to Meghri Community

The court has satisfied the claim of the Syunik region's prosecutor's office for the protection of state interests: a land plot with an area of 0.8 hectares will be returned to the Meghri community.

Based on the court verdict, on April 17, April 18, and April 23, 2025, the prosecutor had filed five lawsuits with the Anti-Corruption Court demanding to invalidate the auctions for the aforementioned land plots and to apply the consequences of invalidity. These lawsuits were accepted into proceedings by the Anti-Corruption Court, and injunctive measures were applied.

Let us recall that the fact that the auctions for 10 land plots with a total area of 8.5 hectares in the Alvanq settlement of the Meghri community were fraudulent was established by a verdict issued in a criminal case examined in the Syunik region's court of general jurisdiction of the first instance.
