Contractors in Metsamor Kindergarten Case Arrested

Representatives of companies that carried out construction work in the Metsamor kindergarten have been arrested.

The information was confirmed by the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia, noting that within the framework of a criminal proceeding being investigated by them, the directors of the construction and technical supervision companies have been arrested.

They are accused of committing fraud in particularly large amounts, aiding and abetting it, as well as committing forgery.

Detention has been applied as a measure of restraint against one of them, and bail and house arrest against the other.
