China to Showcase Hypersonic Missiles at Military Parade

During the military parade in Beijing dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the war against Japan and the World Anti-Fascist War, the Chinese army will display hypersonic missiles, new tanks, and unmanned systems.

As reported by Reuters, this was announced by the deputy head of the working group for the military parade, a representative of the Central Military Commission of China, Major General Wu Qian.

"The main part consists of fourth-generation armaments, such as new tanks and combat modules for carrier-based aircraft, which will demonstrate the systemic combat capabilities of our army," he said at a press conference.

"Another feature is the display of a number of advanced armaments, such as hypersonic, anti-aircraft and anti-missile, as well as strategic missiles." China will also show the public land, sea, air unmanned intelligent and anti-unmanned systems, network and electronic warfare means. He emphasized that all the armaments presented at the parade are of Chinese production.
