China is expanding the capabilities of its nuclear arsenal: Reuters

According to the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, China already has about 600 nuclear warheads. The modernization is happening faster than in the case of other nuclear powers, writes Reuters.

China is building about 350 new missile silos and several bases for mobile launchers. According to experts' estimates, out of the 712 existing launch systems, 462 can be equipped with missiles capable of reaching the US.
