Chechen Woman Found Dead in Yerevan Linked to Kadyrov Circle

New details have emerged in the case of 23-year-old Chechen Aishat Baymuradova, who was found dead in one of the rented apartments in Yerevan. She had been considered missing since October 17. According to human rights defenders, Aishat had left Chechnya after domestic violence and had found refuge in Yerevan under the protection of an organization that helps women from the North Caucasus.

Before disappearing, she had told her neighbors that she was going to meet a female friend she had met on Instagram. It is noteworthy that it was later revealed that among this friend's subscribers were people from the circle of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov.

This circumstance gives rise to serious concerns, as it is not excluded that the girl's death may be related to her past and the reasons for leaving Chechnya. The police have appointed a forensic medical examination to clarify the circumstances of the death. A preliminary investigation is being conducted into the case.
