Canada to Provide $1 Billion in Military Aid to Ukraine

The Prime Minister of Canada has visited Kyiv for the first time. Mark Carney himself wrote about this on the X social network.

"On this day of Ukraine's independence and at this crucial moment in the country's history, Canada is strengthening its support and efforts towards establishing a just and lasting peace in Ukraine," Carney noted.

Earlier, information had been spread that Canada would allocate about $1 billion to Ukraine for military needs.
