Canada Loses Track of Over 47,000 Foreign Students

Canadian authorities have encountered a major challenge in migration control. According to the reputable National Post, the country's law enforcement agencies are unable to locate more than 47,000 foreign citizens who entered Canada on student visas.
This situation has raised serious concerns, as there is a high probability that these individuals are now residing in the country illegally, bypassing immigration legislation. In effect, tens of thousands of people, having used the opportunity to receive an education as a means to enter the country, have simply "disappeared" from official radars.
Analysis shows that the largest number of "missing" students are from India, approximately 20,000 people. They are followed by arrivals from China, whose number exceeds 4,000.
