C-130 Crash Update: Tail Section Broke Off First

13 NOV 2025 07:53
Experts working at the crash site of the C-130 Hercules aircraft have determined that the tail section was the first to detach from the plane. This key fact has been placed at the foundation of the preliminary reconstruction of the incident, writes the Turkish newspaper Milliyet. A detailed examination of the fuselage revealed no traces of external impact that could indicate an explosion or an attack from the outside. The investigation team continues to analyze the causes of the structural collapse and the events that took place in the last seconds before the fall.
Experts have begun deciphering the "black box," and the debris scatter pattern is being considered a crucial tool for restoring the complete timeline of the disaster.
The publication also clarified the data regarding the cargo on board the plane. The C-130 was transporting spare parts and technical specialists to service six Turkish Air Force F-16 fighter jets that had participated in Victory Day events in Azerbaijan. On the way back, the plane was carrying about six tons of spare parts. It is specifically emphasized that there were no munitions or explosives on the plane.
In fact, the preliminary data from the investigation refutes the theory of a terrorist act or external attack, focusing the investigation's attention on the possibility of a technical malfunction or human error.
