The Criminal Court of General Jurisdiction of the city of Yerevan, presided over by Judge Karen Farkhoyan, granted the investigator's motion. The Primate of the Aragatsotn Diocese, Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan, was arrested for 2 months.
He was transferred to a correctional facility. Visitations will be limited. Meetings will only be possible with close relatives.
