The German publication Bild has published a list of the Russian Federation's largest trading partners in 2024, revealing interesting economic trends. Despite the imposed sanctions, the European Union continues to be Russia's third-largest trading partner. According to the publication, the volume of trade between the parties amounts to 67.5 billion euros.
The leader on the list is China. In 2024, the trade volume between the two countries reached about 244.8 billion dollars. A significant part of this amount, 130 billion dollars, is the import of Russian goods into China, primarily oil, gas, and coal.
India came in second place. This is a remarkable leap, as before the start of the large-scale war, India ranked only 12th in the list of Russia's most important trading partners.
The publication also notes that a number of other countries have also activated their trade ties with Moscow, including Israel, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Egypt, and Brazil.
