Biden Praises Trump for Finalizing Gaza Ceasefire

Former US President Joe Biden has thanked the current head of the White House, Donald Trump, for the signing of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip. However, before praising Trump's efforts, Biden, in a post published on his official X page, emphasized the role of his own administration in this process.

"The road to this agreement was not easy. My administration worked tirelessly to bring the captives home, to provide assistance to the Palestinian civilian population, and to end the war," Biden wrote, clarifying that the foundations of peace were laid during his term.

Only after this prelude did the former president address the success of the current administration. "I pay tribute to President Trump and his team for their efforts to reach a final ceasefire agreement," he noted.

Biden's statement concludes with an optimistic message about the future of the Middle East. He expressed hope that the achieved ceasefire will be stable and will become the basis for lasting peace in the region. "Now, with the support of the US and the entire world, the Middle East is on the path to peace, which I hope will be strong and will ensure a future of equal peace, dignity, and security for both Israelis and Palestinians," Biden concluded.
