Baku Links Peace to Armenian Constitutional Change

Armenia does not raise the issue of territorial claims against Azerbaijan, there is an understanding between the countries, and Azerbaijan is ready to turn the peace treaty from a document into a reality, said Murad Muradov, deputy director of the Topchubashov Center, in an exclusive comment to ArmeniaSputnik.

However, for Baku, the issue of amending Armenia's Constitution is important, namely, "the exclusion of references to possible claims" related to the territories of Karabakh. The fact that the countries initialed the agreement in Washington indicates that there is an understanding on this issue. And the issue of Azerbaijan's constitution is not being raised by Yerevan.

As for the issue of Armenian prisoners, those who are "suspects" in the process of "war crimes" are now in Baku; he is not authorized to say more.
