Azerbaijani Citizen Arrested in Stavropol on Terror Charges

An Azerbaijani citizen has been arrested in Stavropol, who was planning terrorist attacks on Russian territory on the instructions of Ukrainian curators.

The man had previously served in the special forces of the Azerbaijani armed forces, the FSB of the Russian Federation reported.

The detainee was planning to prepare several explosive devices to carry out terrorist attacks in Yessentuki and Stavropol, including in the buildings of law enforcement agencies.

A criminal case has been initiated on charges of preparing a terrorist act.
