Azerbaijani Ambassador Calls Washington Agreement "Historic"

The agreement signed in Washington in August is an unprecedented breakthrough, has historical significance, and opens up good opportunities for everyone. According to Azerbaijani media, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the US, Khazar Ibrahim, made such a statement during a conference in Washington on the topic "The US in the South Caucasus: Unlocking New Strategic Opportunities."

According to him, Azerbaijan intends to make the most of and promote this potential.

"The President of Azerbaijan has lifted the restrictions on the transit of goods to Armenia through the territory of our country. I believe that the Prime Minister of Armenia, Pashinyan, also highly appreciated this, and probably there will be some joint actions in this direction," the ambassador noted.

Khazar Ibrahim added that back in the early 90s, attempts were made to act jointly, but it did not become a reality.
