Israeli Media: Azerbaijan May Send Troops to Gaza as Peacekeepers

Reputable Israeli media report that Azerbaijan may join the ranks of countries that will send troops to the Gaza Strip as part of an international stabilization force. The goal of this mission will be to normalize the situation in the region after the end of the two-year war.

As the Ynet portal reports, representatives of the Ministry of Defense informed Israeli deputies about this during a closed session of the parliamentary committee on foreign relations and defense.

According to sources from The Times of Israel, Azerbaijan has already expressed its readiness to join this mission. Along with Azerbaijan, the names of two other Muslim countries are also mentioned: Indonesia and Pakistan.

It is reported that Indonesia has already publicly announced its intention to send troops to Gaza, while Pakistan's possible participation has not yet been officially confirmed.
