Avinyan Presents Noragyugh Project to Emaar Properties

Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan met in the United Arab Emirates with Ahmad Thani Al Matrooshi, the executive director of Emaar Properties, one of the largest developers in the Arab world. The focus of the meeting was the presentation of the conceptual project for the reconstruction of the Noragyugh district and the creation of a modern business district, "Downtown Yerevan."

Emaar Properties is a globally renowned company that has implemented such monumental projects as the "Burj Khalifa" skyscraper in Dubai. Mayor Avinyan discussed the investment program for the construction of a new center in Noragyugh, expressing hope to attract the interest of this prestigious company.

The prospect of this cooperation does not seem unrealistic, given Emaar Properties' activity in the region. The company recently presented two major urban development projects near Tbilisi and Batumi, in which it plans to invest about 6 billion dollars.

It is worth recalling that the concept and master plan for the "Downtown Yerevan" project were developed by the famous French architectural bureau Wilmotte & Associés.
