Ashtarak Institute to Merge With National Postal Operator

The "Institute of Radiophysics and Electronics Special Design Bureau" CJSC, located in the city of Ashtarak, will be reorganized. It will be merged with "HayPost" CJSC. The decision was adopted at the RA Government session on September 25.

The government expects that this initiative will not only increase the competitiveness of "HayPost" CJSC but also make the Republic of Armenia a more important regional logistics hub.

It is still too early to assess the revenues this initiative will bring. The government is currently highlighting the savings aspect: it is expected that as a result of the reorganization, salary and utility costs will be significantly reduced, amounting to 304.7 million drams in 2025-2030.
