On September 19, the 5th President of Artsakh, Samvel Shahramanyan, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ashot Danielyan, the Primate of the Artsakh Diocese, Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, and MPs visited Yerablur. Members of the "Hayastan" faction of the National Assembly also came to the military pantheon.
"Nikol Pashinyan must one day tell what he talked about before the 2023 war, before Azerbaijan's attack, what he agreed upon with Aliyev, what he talked about with Erdoğan," Ishkhan Saghatelyan said at Yerablur.
"He must answer whether he was fully aware of that attack and whether he had given a guarantee to Aliyev that Armenia would not make a sound in any way and would watch as genocide was being committed in Artsakh. I am sure that they had an agreement and he gave that guarantee."
Samvel Shahramanyan also answered journalists' questions. "I did not participate in the Yevlakh meeting, I have never been in Yevlakh, the persons who participated in the meeting in Yevlakh did not sign any document, and that meeting was of a humanitarian nature," said Samvel Shahramanyan.
It should be recalled that on September 19, 2023, Azerbaijan attacked Artsakh, openly violating the November 2020 agreements. Azerbaijani troops took control of a number of territories and came very close to Armenian settlements, closing most of the internal roads. The aggression ended with the complete ethnic cleansing of Artsakh within 2-3 weeks following the attack.
