Participant in Artsakh Blockade Visited Yerevan as a "Peace Expert"

Among the group of Azerbaijani experts who arrived in Armenia was Dilara Efendiyeva, who, in 2022, as an "eco-activist," personally participated in the blockade of Artsakh. The "Fact Investigation Platform," Fip.am, which had already covered Efendiyeva's activities in December 2022, drew attention to this fact.

It should be recalled that at that time, these so-called Azerbaijani "eco-activists" blocked the corridor connecting Artsakh to Armenia, which was under the control of Russian peacekeeping troops and was the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia.

While on the one hand, the blockade led to the most serious humanitarian problems, and the Ministry of Health of Artsakh reported that the transfer of seriously ill patients to Yerevan had become impossible, on the other hand, Dilara Efendiyeva made a contradictory statement in a video. She claimed that they were allegedly ready to provide a road for the people of Artsakh in need of medical assistance.

It should be recalled that the Azerbaijani delegation was in Yerevan on October 21-22 to participate in a bilateral round-table discussion initiated by public organizations and expert circles of Armenia and Azerbaijan, with the support of the official structures of the two countries. The delegation was also received by the Secretary of the Security Council of the RA, Armen Grigoryan.
