Sargsyan's Detention Extended, Rostomyan Moved to House Arrest

The detention of Artur Sargsyan, a member of the "Hayastan" faction arrested in the "Sacred Struggle" case, was also extended by 3 months by Judge Karen Farkhoyan.

The pre-trial detention measure for Ara Rostomyan, the father of fallen serviceman Hakob Rostomyan, was replaced with 3 months of house arrest, combined with a prohibition on being absent.

As a reminder, on August 21, a few hours earlier, Judge Karen Farkhoyan extended the pre-trial detention of Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan by 3 months. The judge had stated that the risks of obstruction and committing a crime are high, and alternative preventive measures cannot ensure the proper conduct of the accused.
