"Arrested on Fabricated Grounds to Silence": Lawyer

Arsen Ghukasyan, the uncle of a person missing from the 44-day war, has been arrested for 1 month. The reason is the protest held a few days ago in front of the Ministry of Defense building, during which a scuffle broke out between military police and the relatives of the missing.

After the protest, based on the report of the ministry and military police officers, Arsen Ghukasyan and Apijan Sargsyan, relatives of missing persons, were arrested. The latter was later released. They have been charged with hooliganism, as well as with interfering in the lawful official activities of an official, which the defense side considers unfounded.
