Aronian in Second Place After Round 6 Draw at Sinquefield Cup

The "Sinquefield Cup 2025" classical chess tournament, part of the "Grand Chess Tour," continues in St. Louis, USA. The 6th round games have taken place.

Levon Aronian, the former leader of the Armenian men's chess team who now plays under the US flag, also drew in this round. In the 6th round, Aronian's opponent was Wesley So. The grandmasters agreed to a draw on the 36th move of the game.

Aronian now has 3.5 points and is half a point behind the leader, Fabiano Caruana.
