Armenia's Prosecutor General Attends IAP Summit in Singapore

The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan, has left for a working visit to the Republic of Singapore to participate in the 30th Annual Conference and General Meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP). This was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia.
During the working visit to the Republic of Singapore, meetings are planned between the RA Prosecutor General and the Prosecutor General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Prosecutor General of the Kingdom of Sweden, the Attorney General of the Swiss Confederation, the Prosecutor General of Georgia, and the President of the International Association of Prosecutors, who is also the Prosecutor General of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
About 450 participants from 80 countries have arrived in the Republic of Singapore to participate in the IAP annual conference.
It should be recalled that the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan, was elected as a candidate for membership in the Executive Committee during the 59th session of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Prosecutors held in Buenos Aires on April 8, 2025.
The election of the member of the Executive Committee will take place during the meeting to be held on September 9. The Executive Committee is the governing and administrative body of the IAP. It consists of a president, vice-presidents, and 20 members.
The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia has been a member of the IAP since January 1, 1999, and is being nominated as a member of the Executive Committee for the first time.
