Armenian, Turkish Social Affairs Ministers Meet in Belgrade

Within the framework of the RISE 2025 conference being held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan met today with the Minister of Family and Social Services of Turkey, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş.

During the meeting, a number of issues of mutual interest in the field of social protection were discussed.

The parties spoke about the sectoral priorities of the two countries and the work being carried out in those directions. In this context, both sides emphasized the importance of expanding the scope and improving the quality of social services.

The parties also referred to the process of normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations, expressing hope that sectoral cooperation will also contribute to it.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to exchange experience and develop cooperation.
