Armenian Military Police Delegation Visits Georgia

A delegation from the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, led by the Head of the Military Police, Major General Ashot Zakaryan, was on an official visit to Georgia from October 28-31.

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia released a statement about this. Within the framework of the visit, the delegation met with the Head of the Military Police Department of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, Major General Shalva Shengelia.

During the meeting, opportunities for developing cooperation, exchanging experience, and strengthening partnership relations were discussed. During the visit, the delegation of the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia also attended the exercises of the Georgian Military Police personnel, during which various elements of rapid response, blockade, and personal protection operations were demonstrated.
