Armenian Leadership Pays Tribute to Victims of October 27 Attack

Nikol Pashinyan, Vahagn Khachaturyan, and Alen Simonyan laid flowers at the monument to the victims of October 27, located in the courtyard of the National Assembly.

As a reminder, today marks the 26th anniversary of the crime of October 27. In 1999, Nairi Hunanyan's criminal group, having broken into the National Assembly, killed the Speaker of the Parliament, Karen Demirchyan, Prime Minister Vazgen Sargsyan, Deputy Speakers of the Parliament Yuri Bakhshyan and Ruben Miroyan, MPs Henrik Abrahamyan, Armenak Armenakyan, Mikael Kotanyan, and Minister Leonard Petrosyan, and 8 other people were injured.
