Armenian Heritage May Be Featured on Google Arts & Culture

Armenia's rich cultural heritage may become accessible to a global audience through Google. This promising opportunity was discussed at Google's headquarters during a meeting between the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the USA, Narek Mkrtchyan, and a high-ranking representative of the company.

As reported by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the USA, Ambassador Mkrtchyan visited the tech giant's main office in San Francisco, where he met with Hrach Achadjian, the organization's Head of AI GTM (Go-to-Market) strategy.

At the core of the meeting was the possibility of digitizing Armenian cultural heritage through the prestigious Google Arts & Culture platform. The implementation of this initiative would allow the international community to be introduced to the treasures of Armenian history, art, and culture in a digital format, ensuring their preservation and popularization for new generations. According to the embassy's press release:

"Possible directions of cooperation, prospects for the development of artificial intelligence and advanced technologies, ... as well as areas where Google's expertise could best contribute to strengthening Armenia's technological ecosystem were discussed," reports the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the USA.
