Government Approves Bill to Make January 27 a Memorial Day

Chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the government held its regular session on October 23. The agenda included 29 issues, of which 26 were not reported.

On the agenda, in particular, was the issue of the government's proposal regarding the draft law "On making an amendment to the law 'On Holidays and Memorial Days of the Republic of Armenia'." It was approved by the government and will be submitted to the Parliament for approval.

Also on the agenda of the government session were:

Approval of the investment program, granting the right of development without a tender to "GTB Development" LLC, and giving consent to the alienation of a land plot through direct sale and delegating authority.
Approval of the subscription instrument of the Republic of Armenia within the framework of the increase in the authorized capital of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and other issues.
