Armenian Educational Foundation Celebrates 75th Anniversary

On September 7, the 75th anniversary of the Armenian Educational Foundation was celebrated at the Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. More than 2,000 participants were present at the event.

Over 75 years, the AEF has had 6,000+ scholarship recipients, built or renovated 200+ schools, and supported a number of educational programs and students' careers.

At the anniversary event, Vahe Hakobyan was awarded in the "Lifetime Service" category, Dr. S.L. Max Nikias in the "Educational Excellence" category, and Ruben Vardanyan and Veronika Zonabend in the "Educational Vision" category.

"Although I was born into a Russian Jewish family, I consider myself Armenian by choice. We pray that Ruben will be released soon," noted Veronika Zonabend.
