Armenian Brandy Export Issue Largely Resolved, Says Minister

"Today I can already state that the issue of brandy export has been essentially resolved. For example, yesterday our Georgian colleagues provided us with the latest data, according to which 27 trucks loaded with bottled brandy could leave the Georgian Gezi customs point during the day.
One more vehicle did not pass the inspection," RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan wrote on his Facebook page. According to him, this statistic proves one thing: that the vast majority of bottled brandy leaving Armenia (in this case, more than 96%) is of proper quality and meets all the standards for brandy.
Let us recall that during the visit to Georgia, an agreement was reached to create a working group composed of representatives of the RA Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Georgia to solve the problems that arose during the export of Armenian brandy. The working group is already operating, informs the RA Minister of Economy.
