Armenian Ambassador Presents Credentials to Emperor of Japan

On August 20, Armenia's newly appointed ambassador to Japan, Monika Simonyan, presented her credentials to the Emperor of Japan, Naruhito. This was reported by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Japan.

The Emperor congratulated the ambassador on assuming her post, wishing her every success in her initiatives aimed at strengthening the friendly ties between Armenia and Japan. Ambassador Simonyan conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the President of the Republic of Armenia to the Emperor of Japan.

The solemn ceremony at the Imperial Palace was also attended by Japan's State Minister Mihara Junko, with whom the ambassador had a brief private conversation.
