Armenia Asks Russia to Extend Migrant Stay to 180 Days

The government has officially appealed to the Russian Federation, proposing to replace the established 90-day [period for migrants to stay in the RF] with 180 days, said Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan.

"According to my information, a legislative initiative is already in the internal circulation phase in the RF, which is aimed at solving this very problem."

As a reminder, in protest of the current situation, truck drivers have bilaterally closed the Armenia-Georgia roads, restricting the movement of trucks.
